With a background as both a licensed health insurance agent and a former EMT first responder with McCormick Ambulance, Gabriel brings a rare combination of medical field experience and deep compassion to the insurance industry.
He began his journey in health insurance in 2018, working under the mentorship of Doug and Linda Wright at Wright Health Agency and alongside his father, Jonathan Smith, also a licensed insurance agent.
In 2022, Gabriel was honored with the prestigious International Torch Award for Ethics, presented personally by Blair Looney, CEO of the California Better Business Bureau.

Jonathan Smith – Licensed Insurance Agent
Jonathan Smith has been serving individuals and families in the insurance industry for more than a decade. With extensive experience assisting the senior community throughout California and across the United States, Jonathan has helped countless clients navigate their Medicare options with clarity, compassion, and expertise.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jonathan is able to connect with a wide range of clients, ensuring that every individual feels comfortable and informed when making important healthcare decisions. He resides part-time in Palm Desert, California, and part-time in Mexico, where his bilingual skills allow him to support diverse communities.
Before beginning his career in insurance, Jonathan devoted many years to ministry. His background as a minister reflects a lifetime of caring for others—listening, guiding, and building genuine connections to ensure the people he serves feel happy, healthy, and supported. This calling to help others continues in his work as a Medicare specialist, where he is known for his personal touch and dedication to client well-being.
Jonathan and his wife, Diane Smith, have raised two sons: Gabriel, their oldest, and Brooks, their youngest. In his personal time, Jonathan enjoys fishing, boating, and sharing his love of cooking and barbecue with family and friends. These passions reflect the same warmth and energy he brings to his professional life—helping clients live vibrant, confident lives with the peace of mind that comes from sound insurance planning.
